Barack Hussein Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States on Tuesday, sweeping away the last racial barrier in
American politics with ease as the country chose him as its first black chief executive.
After a long stressful day I made my way from my college marketing design class and made my way to a voting booth to make my opinion know to the world with one vote. I watched CNN in amazement as watch Barack Obama's popular votes skyrocket. This being my first voting experience, I cannot describe the feeling yet that it gave me to see the number of americans that share some semblance of my political opinion. The Obama administration along with the american people have broken voting records all night and will go on to break even more records. Like Obama always says "yes we can" and I say we will, I will.
